Hopefully the answers to our guests' questions can all be found here.  Specifically things like our gift registry, accommodations, maps, and directions are discussed below.

If you have any other questions, please feel free to drop us a line!

Gift Registry

In the off chance anyone actually cares to get us a little something as a wedding present, we've registered at a couple of big chain stores.  We wanted to make it convenient, so we've selected three different stores:  The Bay, Home Outfitters, and Sears.  You can access the wedding registry in the stores at a location near you, or you can shop online using the links below.  The registries can be accessed in either name, Anne-Marie Retty or Jim Thompson.

Accommodations

Days Inn Hotel
366 Hunt Club Road, Ottawa
739-7555 or 1-866-468-4442

free parking available

For those of you who are from out of town, or do not want to drive home after the reception, we have reserved a block of rooms in our name at the new Days Inn Hotel that is a mere 5 minute walk from the reception hall.  Please make sure you call to reserve your room in advance, as the hotel will not hold the rooms for any longer than a month or two before the wedding.  There are also hotels from most of the major chains in the downtown area if you'd prefer something more in the heart of the city.

Road Maps

We've scanned in a few pieces of Ottawa city maps for people to download if they wish.  Select one of the links on the left to view that map.  For people from out-of-town we recommend you buy yourself an Ottawa city map in case there are other things in the city you'd like to see while you are here.
